Andrea L. K. Johnston
As the CEO of Johnston Research Inc., Andrea L.K. Johnston has worked with Elders, Aboriginal program delivers, and other Aboriginal evaluation consultants to develop evaluation techniques that respect the cultural history and ancestral knowledge of Aboriginal people and communities. She extends these ideas to survey design, evaluation implementation, field research protocols, as well as report design and writing.
Since the launch of Johnston Research Inc. in 2001, Andrea has managed and/or participated in over 60 Aboriginal specific research and evaluation projects totaling over $5M. Furthermore, Ms. Johnston currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society for a three-year term to 2012 and is an active member of the American Evaluation Association, presenting at annual conferences and a recent platinum sponsor of the Canadian Evaluation Society 2010 Victoria, British Columbia conference.
