We have developed a tool that allows a respondent to fill out an electronic survey on a computer connected to the Internet with an automatic upload to our server and an immediate conversion of the file into SPSS or other statistical formats. This also deletes the data from the transmitting computer once the file is confirmed to have been successfully uploaded to our server. Multiple respondents can complete the survey instantaneously. The respondents are provided an ID number to protect their anonymity and to guarantee they should have completed the survey in the first place. The question builder components provide the most novice computer user the ability to create the set of survey questions that will be deployed to the respondents. It also includes the software that creates the deployable file and programs it to automatically upload and erase the files. This tool allows JRI to smoothly and swiftly create and deploy survey tools, but more important it allows us the ability to control the entire process from data collection phase to analysis in a smooth and instantaneous process.
